This morning’s U-20 linkdrop

We have some quick U-20 bits for this morning!

  • The WNT blog at US Soccer finally updated.  I would say skip the text and go straight to the pictures, but I think it’s pretty cool that one of our YNTs in soccer ran into one of our YNTs in basketball. Of course, that’s all there is to say about that.
  • ESPN finally has a TV broadcast schedule for the U-20 Women’s World Cup… but it’s not important. Sure, one of the games is on ESPN, but at 11 p.m.
  • Santa Clara has a feature on starting goalkeeper Bianca Henninger, and it goes in depth about the game that took me from just liking and respecting the Bronco keeper to totally adoring her. “Unbending sense of confidence,” for sure. SCU’s PK shootout against Oklahoma State last fall was an amazing thing to watch, and so much of that was because Henninger owned that shootout.
  • Whoever came to Cross-Conference looking for a Junior Ferns football blog? Please let me know if you find one. I would love to follow that team more closely.
